I am a Highland-based photographer whose work transcends the mere depiction of stunning scenery. With a particular passion for landscapes and seascapes, my images evoke a deep sense of place and atmosphere, drawing viewers into the very heart of the locations I capture.

My approach to photography is characterised by my preference for creating mood in my images. Rather than waiting for the perfect weather, I embrace the elements, finding beauty and inspiration in all conditions. Whether it's the dramatic light of a stormy sky or the serene calm of a misty morning, I seek to capture the essence of a location rather than simple representation.

Each image is thoughtfully framed to convey a specific feeling or narrative. Through my lens, I invite the viewer to experience the beauty and ever-changing moods of the land and sea.

I am an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and have been shortlisted several times in national and international photography competitions.  My images have also been exhibited both locally in the Highlands and throughout the UK in either solo or group exhibitions.
